I’m glad its not just me! I ended up turning off receiving emails about new content because most of the time it left me frustrated never getting to read anything that I clicked on because I wasn’t a member.

I am all for people getting paid but I went from reading several articles daily to maybe looking on the site once a week in the hopes of finding something interesting and free to read.

It would be great if Medium at least let me know before clicking on an article whether or not I can actually read it so I am not just wasting my time!
